Thermo nanodrop device
The NanoDrop device (or in English NanoDrop) is known as a pioneer in the field of measuring low volumes in the spectrophotometer (UV/Vis) field of biological sciences. These devices are used in the fields of genomics, proteomics, drug discovery, molecular diagnosis and bio-manufacturing.
Thermo Scientific Company has introduced two new thermo nanodrop products named NanoDrop One and NanoDrop One C. The use of “Acclaro smart technology” in nanodrop thermo enables the quantitative and qualitative measurement of RNA, DNA, protein samples and the identification of their contamination with only a volume of 1-2 microliters, within a few seconds. It also enables error detection through warning signs and ensures the correctness of the results using the internal sensor and digital photo analysis.
Advantages of NanoDrop One and NanoDrop One C
- StandAlone design and Ergonomic: This system has a tablet with the Android system, which eliminates the need for a separate computer and provides the conditions for using information via wireless, Ethernet or USB.
- Auto-Measurement and Auto-Blank Functions: This function is effective in increasing the speed and accuracy of reading samples.
- Wide Dynamic Range: By using Auto-Range pathlength technology, there is no need for dilution in high concentrations.
- Integrated Learning Center: provides an archive of educational information and animations to the user.
- It covers a wide range of spectra (190-850 nm).
